Description
SMOK V8 Baby Mesh Coils: 0.15 Ohm for the TFV8 Baby Family SMOK V8 Baby Mesh coils are the 0.15Ω mesh head for the standard TFV8 Baby family of tanks. SMOK sums it up as fast heating and massive vapour, and rates it 40–80W with a best range of 60–70W. It is one of the most widely compatible sub-ohm coils SMOK has made. Two warnings before you buy. First, ‘V8 Baby’ is not ‘V8 X-Baby’ and not ‘Baby V2’ – three different coil families. Second, the TFV8 Big Baby was also sold in a TPD-compliant EU edition that takes different EU cores; if your tank is the EU edition, you need the SMOK V8 Baby Mesh EU coils instead. SMOK’s V8 Baby Mesh card: 0.15Ω, 40–80W, best 60–70W, with the tanks it fits. 🔌 SMOK V8 Baby Mesh 0.15 Ohm Coil ✔ Mesh coil ✔ 0.15Ω resistance ✔ SMOK: 40–80W, best 60–70W ✔ TFV8 Baby, Big Baby and TFV12 Baby Prince ✔ Standard (non-EU) tanks ✔ Not V8 X-Baby or Baby V2 V8 Baby Mesh vs Other V8 Baby Cores A few of the V8 Baby cores SMOK makes, with SMOK’s published ranges. It warms up faster than the wire-built V8 Baby cores, so you can start a little lower than you would on a T12 and still get a full hit. Which Tanks Take V8 Baby Mesh Coils? SMOK prints the tanks on the coil’s own card: the TFV8 Baby, TFV8 Big Baby, TFV8 Big Baby Light Edition and TFV12 Baby Prince. Its compatibility table adds the TFV9 and TFV9 Mini tanks and the Rigel, Rigel Mini, Scar-18 and Scar-Mini kits, and SMOK’s RPM160 page says the RPM160 V9 pod accepts these coils too, under their newer ‘TFV8 Mini’ name. We don’t stock a V8 Baby tank or kit at present, so these coils are for owners. If your Big Baby is the TPD edition, the matching core is the SMOK V8 Baby Mesh EU coil or the Q2 EU core . Will not fit: the EU edition of the TFV8 Big Baby (it needs EU cores), the TFV8 X-Baby, the TFV8 Baby V2 / TFV Mini V2 or the full-size TFV8. How to Fit and Prime a V8 Baby Mesh Coil Empty the tank and unscrew it from the mod; unscrew the base from the glass section. Twist out the old coil. Clean any e-liquid pooled in the base. Wet the mesh through the side slots and drip a couple of drops down the top. Screw the new coil into the base, refit and fill through the top cap. Wait five minutes. Start at 50W and move towards 65W. How Long Does a V8 Baby Mesh Coil Last? Mesh at 60–70W with a clear e-liquid usually gives one to two weeks. It degrades more quickly with sweet flavours, and a coil that has been run dry once rarely tastes right again. SMOK gives no official figure.
